Teach de Broc is located at the first tee of both the world-famous Old Course in Ballybunion and the newly Tom Watson designed golf course in Ballybunion. Tralee, Dooks, Trump International, Lahinch, and Waterville are all within a 50-mile radius of Ballybunion.
The Old Course has been in play since 1894 and is regarded as one of the finest golf courses in the world. The Cashen Course was originally developed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. in 1985 and is currently undergoing a 10-million-dollar upgrade which has been designed by Tom Watson.
When people search for the best hotels with golf courses in Ireland Teach de Broc has a tendency to be included. Although the hotel and golf course are not connected, they go hand in hand for those visiting Ballybunion to play golf.
The Cashen Course has the most spectacular vistas of any golf course in the country. When playing the Cashen Course in Ballybunion golfers get lost amongst some of the largest sand dunes in Ireland. This golf course runs alongside the long strand in Ballybunion which boasts miles of pristine shoreline. The course has completely unspoilt views of the Atlantic Ocean, Cashen Estuary, Kerry Head and Loop Head.
Ballybunion Golf Club is not for the faint of heart. These golf courses are not ideal for beginners and tends to challenge even the world’s most experience golfers.

Ballybunion Golf Club offer a shuttle service from the driving range so once our guests have enjoyed their award-winning breakfast, they will be ushered to the first tee.
