Ballybunion Golf Club - Drone Videos

Over the years we have developed the reputation of being the ideal location from where to base yourself when embarking on a few rounds of golf at Ballybunion & Tralee Golf Club. In the absence of normal visitor numbers to Ballybunion we challenged ourselves on how we could connect with the disappointed clients who had their plans in place for a visit to Ballybunion Golf Club and to Teach de Broc during the summer of 2020. It occurred to us that if people cannot travel to play golf in Ballybunion, was there a way that we could possibly bring the course to them instead? So we embarked on the task of capturing videos of the golf course to share with our guests, long established clients, overseas members & friends.
What began as a simple e-mail with a few drone shots to some of our guests became a daily undertaking that branched out to all our social media channels. After the first contact was made, one thing became quite clear, they all wanted to see more. Somehow this e-mail created a longing that can only be satisfied by touching down once again on Irish soil. It became apparent from their responses that this simple video had brought them joy and until they can return we will continue to serve them through this novel approach.
