The 'Cashen Course' or “New” as it is known locally, derives its name from the tidal estuary where the salmon rich Cashen River ends its journey. The course provides the golfer with a true test of accuracy. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, narrow fairways, steep and imposing slopes, high gorse and hilly terrain are some of the features on this thoroughly challenging course. These rugged features are enhanced by a backdrop of azure sea, white delicate sands and a view to lift the heart.

Testimonials

You don’t have to play golf to appreciate this highly popular guesthouse, but it certainly must help as it is almost within the boundaries of the famous Ballybunion links. Nothing is too much trouble for Seamus and Aoife Brock, it seems and they are, indeed, the perfect hosts.
